Dr. Anne Snowdon led a session on Digital Health Transformation as a Strategy to Advance Equity in Global Health Systems. This session focused on examining the role of digital transformation in advancing health system performance, including workforce sustainability, patient experience, quality and safety. Moreover, Dr. Snowdon has described the role of digital transformation in accelerating health system sustainability, equity, and citizen engagement. Specifically, she discussed Disruptions of Global Supply Chains, global priority in the post-pandemic future, digital health implications, strategic outcomes, and other related considerations.

Keynote Plenary 5: Panel Discussion - Care isn't What it Used to Be: The Need to Elevate Consumer Experience

Alongside other Healthcare experts, Dr. Anne Snowdon took part in a panel discussion titled Care is not What it Used to Be: The Need to Elevate Consumer Experience. The indicated panel focused on examining the rapid increase in consumer demands and healthcare complexities. Furthermore, the discussion was formulated around exploring robust strategies, tactics, and implementations to enhance the quality of care and create better security. From handing back consumers control over their own health to enhanced patient engagement, the experts have discussed the long-term steps that must be taken to ensure better health and wellness for consumers.

HIMSS Maturity Model and Digital Health Indicator (DHI) Workshop

As one of the speakers in the workshop, Dr. Anne Snowdon shared her insights on the different indications covered throughout the session. This includes assessing the Digital Health Indicator's (DHI) role in measuring the progress healthcare organizations have made toward building a connected and secure, outcomes-driven, sustainable digital health ecosystem based on four key dimensions: governance and workforce, interoperability, person-enabled health, and predictive analytics. In addition, this session included a thorough study of the HIMSS maturity models, and the Digital Health Indicator related to how digital transformation can advance the health system's final outcomes.
