Healthcare organizations and hospitals with integrated and digital supply chain infrastructure have experienced the most success in managing the COVID-19 pandemic. Institutions such as Alberta Health Services (Canada), Mercy Health (United States) and the National Health Service (United Kingdom) were prepared with sufficient personal protective equipment (PPE) due to the robustness of their supply chains. Through the visibility enabled by an integrated and digital supply chain they were also able to re-deploy critical supplies where they were most needed.
