“There is no question that in this pandemic the supply chain consolidation and organization is critical,”
says Dr. Anne Snowdon. “Alberta has a highly consolidated and digitized supply chain infrastructure. It is the only province in the country that has been able to achieve this. What this means is that the procurement team can go online to track and trace products such as gown, gloves and ventilators. It enables them to proactively determine current use and future needs of products across the province as well.”
