Dr. Charles Alessi
Dr. Charles Alessi is a practicing GP in south west London and a Senior Advisor and lead for preventable dementia in Public Health England.

He has extensive experience of the National Health Service (NHS) in a variety of senior positions in both primary and secondary care as well as Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and Health Authorities and assumed the role of Chairman of the National Association of Primary Care (NAPC) in January 2012. He is also Chairman of NHS Clinical Commissioners. Further, he is intimately involved in the one of the Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group providing services to over 195,000 patients, 29 practices and over a 130 GPs.

Dr. Alessi has extensive experience of working at senior levels both nationally and internationally, in Europe and the Americas. As Chair of the NAPC, he is at the heart of health reform and internationally he has been active in advising both governments and international organizations. He also has experience of military medicine acting as Director of Medicine and Clinical Governance for the British Armed Forces in Germany.
