SCAN Health is pleased to announce the short-listed teams in the SCAN Health Virtual Business Case Competition 2021.
The students' applications addressed a current and real-world global challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted significant supply chain challenges as health systems around the world struggle to manage the impact and spread of the coronavirus. Participating students took the role of a consulting team advising the Government of Canada on the development of a coordinated healthcare supply chain to support health systems in sourcing critical supplies such as personal protective equipment.
SCAN Health received applications from teams in 11 different countries spanning Asia, Australia, Europe and North America! Our esteemed panel of judges have selected the top 12 teams to move forward to Round 2. Congratulations and good luck to teams from the following schools:

The competition is hosted by the Odette School of Business and in partnership with HIMSS. Successful teams will have the opportunity to win cash prizes and present at HIMSS21 Global Health Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas, US. HIMSS21 offers exceptional education, world-class speakers, cutting-edge products and powerful networking.
