Eileen Mac Donald is president of GS1 Canada, a member of GS1, the world’s leading supply chain standards organization.
Ms. Mac Donald is responsible for leading GS1 Canada’s strategic direction and growth by driving organizational planning and priorities in conjunction with Board directives. In this role, Ms. Mac Donald oversees finance, operations, industry and government relations, corporate affairs and marketing for GS1 Canada, managing business opportunities and challenges.
Ms. Mac Donald has had a long and distinguished career in strategic planning, project management and corporate affairs. Prior to working with GS1 Canada, she was Sr. Vice President of marketing and operations at an innovative national loyalty program, where she was responsible for business strategy, mass and data marketing, advertising, public relations, member services, and communications. Ms. Mac Donald also spent over eight years in various executive positions at Home Depot, where she was instrumental in implementing the successful rollout of the home improvement retailer across Canada.
Ms. Mac Donald’s studies include Marketing and Advertising at York University, and Contracts and Law at the University of Toronto. She has lectured at the University of Toronto, York University and Rotman School of Management.
